Pick Up the Guitar CD contains all of the tunes featured in the Pick Up the Guitar tutor book, providing a useful listening companion for beginners working through the course.

The recording allows learners to hear the melodies they are learning from the book, helping them become familiar with how each tune should sound while developing their playing skills on the guitar.

Designed to accompany a course requiring no previous musical knowledge, the CD supports the book's practical approach to learning. It is particularly useful as players progress from basic guitar technique and strumming into playing recognisable melodies and developing their picking skills.

Used alongside the tutor book, the recording gives beginners an audible reference for the repertoire they are learning and helps reinforce the connection between the tablature on the page and the music itself.
